How long have you been in business?
DC Construction was founded in 1986, and we have been licensed since then through the State of California’s Contractors State License Board as a General Building and Plumbing Contractor. That designation means we are fully insured and bonded. We are also members of the Better Business Bureau.

Do you charge for your estimates?
All of our estimates are free of charge. Our estimates are thorough and never “ballparked.” We will take careful note of all your concerns and expectations and calculate those into our final bid.

How do I schedule an estimate?
Just give us a call at 510-536-1068 to schedule a free estimate. Depending on the scope of the project, plan on spending between 20 and 90 minutes with our estimator. This will allow ample time for us to learn about and discuss every aspect of your project.

Do you have references?
Absolutely. We would be happy to provide you with a list of many happy, satisfied clients who would love to tell you about their wonderful remodeling experiences with DC Construction.

Have you won any awards for your work?
We have won the ANG Best of the Bay Area award for the home improvement category. We were also voted the best in Kitchen and Bath Remodeling by the readers of the Alameda Times-Star for the years of 2000, 2001, 2002 and 2003.

I have a small bathroom that needs remodeling. Do you take on jobs of that size?
We take on jobs of all sizes, from small to massive. We work on projects ranging from small bathroom remodels to custom additions to commercial restaurants remodels to new home construction.

How long does it take before you can start my remodel?
We can schedule to start work as soon as you receive the city permits needed to remodel.

Can you help me get the right permits?
Yes, we can handle that often time-consuming part of construction. Because we’ve been in business so long and have done work directly for various cities in the area, we have extensive contacts in many city permitting offices. These connections often allow us to get your permits quickly, which lets us start work on your project sooner.

Do you guarantee your work?
We complete your project with a 100% guarantee of our craftsmanship. In other words, we don’t leave the job until you’re completely satisfied with the project.
