Located in Alameda's Gold Coast District, this split-level craftsman was fully remodeled by DC Construction and its associates. Designed by architect Jerri Holan, the two-level home was converted to four levels with 3 full custom baths, custom kitchen and new master suite. The bathrooms feature beautifully laid marble and limestone tiles with frameless glass shower enclosures.   

More than 33 windows and 2 French doors help capture the essence of the true craftsman period. Additionally, oak flooring and Alameda original trim wood work finish off the look that continues to dominate this Northern California area.

DC Construction's work included:

  • Complete retrofit and historical reproduction.
  • Designing and working with the city of Oakland’s historical board on the building's façade.
  • Installing new footing.
  • Reframing the building.
  • Installing new stair casings.
  • Putting in a new underground sewer system.
  • Installing 600 amps of new electrical service.
  • Constructing a historical exterior deck with historical reproduction moldings.
  • Installing new roofing.
