Donny Chu
President/Owner
Donny founded DC Construction in 1986, and has more than two decades of experience in the construction industry. He has been licensed since 1986 as a general building and plumbing contractor, and has extensive experience with commercial, residential and governmental projects. Donny has overseen projects ranging from repair work to the design and construction of custom commercial kitchens and bathrooms. He is also skilled in completing multi-tenant commercial projects as well as multi-million dollar historical commercial rehabilitations.
The cities of Oakland and Alameda, along with East Bay Regional Parks, have been among Donny’s repeat clients over the years.
Christine Chu
Vice President/CFO
As DC Construction’s VP/Chief Financial Officer, Christine keeps the financial side of the business running smoothly. She oversees all financial matters, reviewing the company’s bidding procedures, allocating funds for growth, and expansion and preparing DC Construction’s financial statements. Before joining the company in 1998, Christine worked as a financial software consultant.
Christine holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration, with an emphasis in finance, from San Diego State University.

Oliver Wong
Asst. Project Manager
The newest member of our team, Oliver recently joined the DC Construction team in 2009. His love for all things construction grew from his volunteer experience with Habitat for Humanity East Bay. In his current capacity, Oliver assists all the members of the office staff with budgeting, scheduling, contracts, billing, buyouts, database management, as well as serving as project manager for smaller projects. Before coming to DC Construction, Oliver was the head coach of a recreational swim team, and completed two years of law school in San Diego.
Oliver graduated from the University of Arizona with a degree in Business Administration and an emphasis in Finance. Besides spending his free time volunteering with Habitat for Humanity East Bay and Rebuilding Together Oakland/Berkeley, Oliver enjoys surfing, photography, and boating, and is an avid Oakland A's fan.
