Renovation of historic two-story commercial and restaurant building in the heart of Oakland's Chinatown.
DC Construction was contracted to do the following work:
Complete retrofit of the entire 15,000 square foot commercial space
Complete rehabilitation of exterior façade with new balcony + railings
Historical reproduction of the exterior moldings + trims
New footings + framing
New underground sewer system + new electrical system
New tile roof, elevator, and grand staircase
4 new ADA bathrooms
Acted as consultant to the architect, owner, and City of Oakland’s Historical Board for the design of the building from start to finish
Project featured in the San Francisco Chronicle after DC Construction completed its preservation and restoration
